Where is the back to my phone?

Molly the mc narfer was at it again. She has this habit of putting things in her mouth that she shouldn't. Whitney came over today and she dropped her phone on the floor. When she picked it up the back was gone. We looked around and I could not find it anywhere. Then I think and Molly was acting weird. So I look at Molly and say "Molly" in that you know you shouldn't have that voice. She lays down on the floor with her tail a wagging and looks at me in that innocent way. I then reach down and fish the back of Whitney's phone out of Molly's mouth. After some bending and tweaking the back fit back on and the phone was put back together. Molly left a nice canine imprint so Whitney will always remember her!? I keep thinking Molly will out grow this but she just likes to explore by putting EVERYTHING in her mouth. Oh well, at least she does not have a very innocent look and doesn't tare the thing apart!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Today is the day that guys wake up early to play turkey bowl. Today is also the day people wake up early to run a 5K (crazy people!). Today you will eat so much you feel sick but you keep eating and who can pass up desert!? You will sit if front of the TV and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Some of you will be flipping through the paper to find the deals for black Friday. But most important, today you will spend time with friends and family and reflect on what you are thankful for. Although the economy is going to pot there are still many things to be thankful for. Here are my top five (I would list everything I am thankful for but that would make a very long post!)
*JP
*Family
*My puppies
*My job
*My house

12-0

There is not much more to say then that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO UTES!!!!!!!

Twilight Premier

My sisters and I went and saw Twilight at 12:20 in the morning yesterday. I have not read the books but didn't want to miss hanging out with my sisters. Having not read the books the movie was a little hard to follow because there were a lot of different characters. It was also the middle of the night! Yes I stayed awake through the whole movie. The first half hour I struggled but it is VERY hard to fall asleep in a theater full of screaming girls. I got home at 3:15 in the morning and climbed into bed. I then woke up at 7:30 and went to a CE class for three hours. I was yawning so much! I would not recommend getting four hours of sleep and then sitting in a class for three hours!
And yes I enjoyed the movie even thought I did not understand all of it.

Road rage venting

*To the wonderful person who insisted on driving up my bumper, I can only go as fast as the car in front of me so BACK OFF!
*To the other car who insists on driving so close I can see the color of your eyes, I am already speeding (5 miles over) in the slow lane so change lanes and leave me alone!
*To the person who insists on running the VERY VERY RED light, you better count your blessings I had not started through my VERY VERY GREEN light yet because otherwise you would have been in my front seat with me.
and last but not least.......
*To the people who insist on not using their turn signal, how in the $#&% am I suppose to know what you are doing. I am not a a mind reader.

Budget

This too is a swear word. It only causes discomfort and panic. I put myself on a budget a couple of months ago. The problem with it is it was self induced. Meaning if I spent more, oh well!? JP and I have always had our money separate. Some people disagree with this but, for us it works. As long as bills can be payed I don't care what he buys and visa versa. I low balled my budget with all intents of not over spending. Well the problem was I always had money. So if I spent more then I should it was no problem. This creates problems too because I buy things I really don't need. I purchase my wants. And why shouldn't I, right? Wrong!! My house if full of not needed purchased wants. Then I can't figure where to put them and they are returned or stored away. One day I will figure out this budget thing, but until then I am going to try tracking my purchases more closely. This way I will know for sure how much I spend every month on wants. This could be very scary!?

6 unspectacular quirks/ True confessions

My friend tagged me about a week ago and so here you go. The tag is 6 unspectacular quirks about yourself. Although I will try to think of things I am sure some of you will think of ones I forgot! Here goes...
1. I secretly really don't mind all the dog hair in my house. That's right, I don't care that there are hair balls all over the place. I love my dogs and part of loving them is loving the messes they make! (The throw up messes and poo messes I DO mind because they stink up the house and they are cleaned up immediately.) Although loving the hair balls just adds to my reasons I am lazy but I don't care! (OK sometimes I really do care like if my visiting teachers are coming over, or if friends are coming over but if it is just me, JP and the dogs, the hair balls just stay put.)
2. I can get very ornery if hungry or tired. This one is very unspectacular, especially if you happen to be around me when hunger strikes! I have gotten better though and am learning to control my attitude. I also keep a 5 minute food kit in my purse for if an emergency arises! That 5 minute food kit may consist of a miniature Luna bar, PEZ, Werther's and sweat tarts but, in an emergency it can save others lives!
3. I am NOT good at hiding my emotions. My husband and father-in-law are very good at noticing if I am trying to hide them. You know the saying "airing out the dirty laundry?" Well I am very good at doing that. I don't like to pretend I am in a good mood if I am not. If I am upset, then I am going to be upset. Again I am working on this one but it is going to take A LOT of self control to pretend I am happy when I am not. Maybe I should just learn not to get upset over small and stupid things. That would help a lot!
4. I have collected all the state coins. Well almost all of them, I am still missing two. I am not a real avid coin collector but the state coins have been fun to collect. My Grandma gave me a map to put the coins in when I got them. I realize that once I have all 50 states that is $12.50 and that money could be used for something else but then what would I do with the map?
5. I do not shower everyday. I know, YUCK is what you are thinking. I DO shower after work. That would be really gross if I didn't! It is Fridays or Saturdays that I usually don't shower. If I notice that I stink I shower otherwise I just change my underwear and get dressed.
6. I am a very insecure person even though I play a secure person in real life. I am always second guessing myself. I plan for the what if or could be before I even know the results of the right now. I am a worst case scenario person. I think of the worst and then plan for that. I try to be one step ahead which usually just causes me more stress. Do you know how many what ifs or could bes are out there?

So there you go. I hope that I do not make some of you not want to hang out with me anymore with the things I have written. I feel like this post needs to be called true confessions! For those of you who are willing to admit some of your unspectacular quirks try it out. I am pretty confident none of yours are worse then my not showering everyday!?

Happy Birthday Pop!!

My Grandpa, Pop or Lew, turned 83 this weekend!!! To celebrate we went to lunch at Olive Garden downtown on Friday. My Aunt Diana, Jessica, Teddy, Mom, Dad, Gram, Pop, Me, Kim, Joseph, and Courtney were all there. It was a lot of fun to see everyone and spend time with them. Then on Sunday my Grandma had an open house where we all were able to talk and spend more time together. Happy 83rd Grandpa and here is too many more!!!!!!!

What's for dinner?

That would be SPAM, pineapple and rice. Yup, I said SPAM. You see I found out that JP liked SPAM and so for Christmas last year I got him some for his stocking. Well he forgot about it and it got buried in our cupboard behind things we actually used (the wonderful/gross thing about SPAM is it would have been very happy sitting in the cupboard until Sept. 2010 because it didn't expire until then!?! I am not sure if I should be really grossed out or if I should stock up on more for my food storage!?). One of the girls in my hygiene class said that SPAM with pineapple over rice was really good. I bought a can of pineapple awhile ago and like the SPAM it just kept getting pushed back. Last night though they both came out. I gave JP the option of chicken corn chowder or SPAM with pineapple. I knew JP would say SPAM and actually he was really excited. I have never tried SPAM before so I was a little scared to say the least. The can said you could cook it like ham and brown both sides. So I sliced it and cooked it. Then I made some minute rice and mixed the pineapple with everything. All things considered it was not too bad. SPAM is not going to be a staple food in my house anytime soon but I will purchase more cans for a easy dinner again. The funny thing is as I was cooking the SPAM JP asked me why I had purchased it. I told him it was in his stocking last year at Christmas. "It was?" He said. See what I get for putting something other then a toy or candy in his stocking, he doesn't even remember!

A whole new meaning to the saying "hair ball"!

One of the BEST toys we have given Molly is a tennis ball. Actually we didn't give it to her she found it who knows where! It is way better then the Crockett ball we gave her because it is quite and doesn't leave marks on the floor. The only problem with the tennis ball is it is small enough to fit under ever and anything. It rolls under the couch, the bed (easy for molly to get out!), my night stand, chester drawers. When it rolls under the couch Molly will try her hardest to get it out and if she does not succeed she barks and then she will come find JP or I to help her. Bailey also tries to help and that is when it gets really funny because Bailey does not fit under the coach! The following picture is what happened when it rolled under the linen drawers.

It makes you think differently about hair balls. I try to vacuum often but alas hair hides in every nook and cranny and sometimes it is not found very often. This is only a couple of days worth of hair though believe it or not. I know it is gross but I love my dogs so much it is worth it. (Most of the time!)

Random thought of the day: Can fudge be sassy? I am being serious here. I don't think fudge can be sassy because it cannot act like anything. Sure fudge it can be heavenly and scrumptious and make your mouth water but I REALLY don't think it can be sassy!!!
