Second the Chicken Noodle Soup. I made chicken noodle soup from scratch last night, for the first time ever. It tasted really good, if I can say so myself. Molly tried to help me numerous times but was always told to leave the kitchen. Bailey sat right at the edge of the counter. He knows how far is enough and then does not go any farther away. He hopes that something will drop on the floor for him. Nothing drops but he still hopes! I cut the noodles with a pizza cutter so it was really easy. I did not have a rolling pin so I used a glass to roll out the dough. I cut the noodles into small squares because I wanted them to be smaller. All in all it was edible and good. I will definitely cook this again.
Last but not least, shaving. Now I have been shaving my legs for a long time. I always use shaving cream or left over conditioner and I change my razor often. Well Sunday morning I shaved my legs. As I was getting dressed I felt something on my ankle. I looked down and saw this....
I cut my ankle and it bled and bled. Luckily it did not hurt. I was so mad! How long have I been shaving my legs? I had to put a band aid on it because it would not stop bleeding.
So there is your update and sorry about the bloody picture.
Random thoughts of the day: (I know I usually do just one but I had two today)
Why do knicks from shaving bleed FOREVER?
How can birds sit on telephone wires without falling off?

two months ago Ally threw my razor in the toilet, so I pulled out a disposable razor and climbed in the shower (also on a Sunday)- I ended up taking two HUGE chucks out of my shin and near my ankle. I have scars now, the cuts bled for like 3 days before they stopped, and they still look nasty. I couldn't believe it! It's been YEARS since I've cut myself while shaving- I will never use a noxema disposable razor again- I keep meaning to write them a letter or something to complain! Anyways, just had to share my story with you.
P.S. have you heard that Dusty is now the mother of 5??
ok, random, but your step mother in law looks rather familiar!! Did she go to UCMT, graduate in 2001 with class C-61?!? K, I know it's crazy that I remember the c61 part, but i'm a nerd!! She seriously looks like a Jen that I graduated with. She probably wouldn't remember me, cause I'm shy :), but she would remember Kim Rollins and Traci Spillett! OK, now go and find out!! hahah
I rarely cut myself as well, but if I do, it's right there! And it doesn't hurt either. And it bleeds forever too. I have no answer for you there.
I once learned why birds can land on wires without getting zapped. Something about the birds only touching one wire and nothing else. (If they put one foot on one wire and one on another, they'd get zapped.)
I think that the same goes for humans, but it's relatively difficult for us to grab an electrical wire without touching sonmething else, like the ground. And the electricity would use us to get to the ground.
I love your random thoughts. They make me use my brain! :)
I am the SMiL in question and Yes! I graduated from C61! I remember you silly! We spent a year together...every night!
My part II of random birds on wires - how do they NOT get electrocuted?
