JP put in for a swan tag this year and got it. He went out hunting last weekend and came home empty handed. But do not despair on Monday, due to the snow storm, JP went out again and got one. See they weren't flying because it was not snowing or cold enough but once the snow came, they were leaving. Unfortunately for one it was not able to make it to its new destination. The swan was really big! JP is having it mounted so you can come see it next year some time when it is done. He thinks he is going to put it on the safe in the family room but he must have been dreaming because dead animals only stay in one room, and that is downstairs!

But put your foot down or the place will be covered in dead animals!
It was funny, on Monday they sent a picture to John's phone and John says to me "why did they send me a picture of a dead goose?" I didn't even have to look at the picture, I just said "Honey, that's JP's swan"
John's not really a hunter, he just goes for the commraderie. I'm glad because the only stuffed animals allowed in my house are of the plushie variety.
